I'm buying a new computer or laptop for an extensive Photoshop project. Budget is under $2000. Mac or PC? What do you recommend? Thanks!

          Hi Choir
I prefer you to using Mac like a MacBook pro, cause PC cant displayed color be accurate you must calibrate before you using that

Have you used both OS  Mac and PC? Have you used either?  If you have a lot of experience running one or the other I would go with that OS.  Both platform use the same hardware. Both OS are preemptive multitask OS with multiprocessor support. Photoshop operation and performance is similar on both platforms.  There are minor differences because of OS support.differences. Some third party Plug-ins may be available for one or the other platform.  If you just starting to use Photoshop you have a lot to learn do not be to concerned about plug-ins. There may be more device support for PC then Mac but  if the machines is for Photoshop both platforms work and perform nearly the same. Laptop cost should be in the same price range also.
