Photo images missing in the final product--PLEASE help!

I am using Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 to make a trip video at around 18 minutes long. This is my 11th trip video I have made and the first time running into this particular problem.

I have completed the editing and exported at my usual settings: H.264, 1080p, VBR 2 Pass, 320 bit audio, etc.

The trip film is 90% video and 10% photo images. In the final product, everything works great, including music/audio, and title stills (above the photo), but SOME of the photo images shows up as a blank black screen. Even the video transitions work, but they transition into a black screen, and transitions into the next video smoothly.

I have exported now 5 total times, each export taking around 19-20 hours. Each single time there are DIFFERENT images that are missing. Sometimes the previously missing image will show up in the next export, but the image which showed up just fine in the previous export is missing in the new one. I don't understand why this is happening and I am beyond frustrated. I am not about to waste another day without my computer because of another failed exporting.

I'm guessing this has nothing to do with image size, but rather with the speed/performance of my "older" computer. I'm hoping there is a way out of this because I spent about 10 days working on this video...

Please help if you might know the solution to this problem--I would very much appreciate any leads!
