YOu will have to check that on a Corel forum. Exporting from CorelDraw useD to be pretty good, but it's been a while since I last used it...
Thanks for the reply.
I had posted on the CorelDRAW forum and established that the code exists for a macro to do this job. I had hoped that one or other of the programs would have a tool to do this but, they don't. The number of files is fairly small so I'll export them individually.
... and I want to save them as PSD's so that I can have access to their full functionality in Photo Shop.
Is this possible?
Corel Draw is a vector based program like Adobe Illustrator. Therefore you cannot get a full functionality in Photoshop.
Also there's no way to place a cdr file as smart object in Photoshop.
Batch converting cdr to psd is not possible, only to tif/jpg/png/gif. (Draw X5/X6)
You could try converting to *.ai first but I can't recommend it. Draw's *.ai Export is very often faulty.
Maybe this Macro (for Draw X5) is better, I never tried it: Copy To Adobe Illustrator
