    Resaving a gif image

    shoretel

Can anyone tell me if there is much image quality loss when resaving a gif image. I have not seen much loss, but would like to know for sure.

      Thanks.

Not unless you reduce the number of colors in the GIF.

It may happen if you either reduce the number of colors, or force FW to
apply different palette. If you use "Exact" palette (guess you noticed
that option in export settings), nothing is changed. Well, actually
there's no reason to resave then, since nothing is changed - you may
simply copy your file without starting FW :-)
