I am having a similar problem... I can't figure out how to get edge to reposition elements based on the screen size... They will scale with the screen... But to get an element that is on the top to move to the bottom for desktop and mobile does not seem possible...
I am sure you already fixed your issue as this post was back in august... But for your purposes I think you need to set the text to be applied positioning and then change the anchor from the left to the right... That should now tell edge to apply the positioning based on the distance from the right corner of the text to the corner of the screen... You should also probably switch that to a percentage based value so it will always be relative and centered based on the screen overall size...
No I was not able to fix it and it was consuming too much time. I ended up buying a banner system called SliderRevolution jQuery version and it worked perfectly for what I wanted and I even made a custom CMS for it.
Yea its really sad its looking like this whole adobe edge platform is being shut down or something... There are no moderators on the reflow forum and your question went completely un-answered and forced you to go a different route... They are turning users away by the lack of support on these forums... Why even come out with new software and get us excited if your just going to not support it and just care about photoshop... Bad form adobe bad form... Ugh so mad...
Hi Keithleyson, BernardDigital,
This question has been put long time back, and we somehow missed answering it then. And due to which, it has gone down the pile of so many other questions.
Apologies for that.
Now coming to your issues,
1. Please specify which version of Edge Animate are you trying with.
2. Does this happen for all composition or only for a few in which case please create a simple composition and share with us to demonstrate the issue?
Sorry but it's too late. I have already closed that projects and have since used Slider Revolution. I think Adobe needs to step up it's support. It's too frustrating to go into an community forum where there is too few interaction and replies. Sometimes I wonder if this company even cares about its customers.
As Keith Said
But if you like... I have asked a question on the forum that is still un-answered... Seems to be a trend...
