1. Re: RH 11 Glossary not displaying in desktop view
Willam van Weelden Aug 11, 2014 12:53 AM (in response to HelpAuthor1)We'll have to do some troubleshooting as I'm not sure where the problem could be. So here are a few questions to get started:
- Is it broken when viewed locally or also when it's on a server?
- Do you have any special characters in your glossary (/index) such as <, &, etc?
- If you open the help on a desktop but resize to get the mobile view, does the glossary work on desktop then or only when viewed on a mobile device?
Kind regards,
Willam

2. Re: RH 11 Glossary not displaying in desktop view
HelpAuthor1 Aug 11, 2014 10:33 AM (in response to Willam van Weelden)This actually applies to both the index and the glossary.
I've tested this locally, primarily, but if I open the published files on our server drive, the behavior is the same.
Occasionally, if I open the glossary in tablet or mobile view, I will resize it to desktop and it will display in the left column with no topic in the right side (which may be expected behavior).
I have no special characters that I know of in the glossary or index.
I've determined that we probably do not need the index or the glossary to display since I have those definitions in-line and a search field. I'd love to know how to remove the Index and Glossary links from the navigation in the template I am using (Theme2_Government). If I can't that is OK, but I would need to have it working correctly if it is included.
Thank you for your feedback and assistance. Susan

Willam van Weelden Aug 26, 2014 12:37 AM (in response to HelpAuthor1)Very strange. Do you get the same behaviour with the Theme1 layout?
For removing the index/glossary, see my webinar on this: http://www.wvanweelden.eu/blog/2014/08/20/recording-beyond-wizard-editing-html5-layouts-ro bohelp-11
Kind regards,

HelpAuthor1 Aug 28, 2014 8:57 AM (in response to Willam van Weelden)Thank you Willam,
That webinar actually came out exactly when I started dealing with this so I watched it live and am grateful for the link as I am just about to start preparing to do that!
