I tried to download the Hebrew version of ID, but I couldn't. When I selected Hebrew in the settings, it said it was up to date.
I have read that you don't need to pull the non-ME versions of InDesign in order to download and use the ME edition, but have never tested it myself. What I did was:
1) a complete uninstall
2) Changing the languages in the preferences of the Creative Cloud app
3) Re-downloading InDesign via CC app
That worked for me; your mileage may vary
You don't need to uninstall!
Install ADDITIONALLY the version with Hebrew support as it will add functionality in any other version of InDesign too. Here, I have GERMAN + ME versions.
I tested the same with Asian version too.
Only problem when Western+Asian+Hebrew it is crashing very often.
Thanks for your response. When I choose the Hebrew as shown in your example, I am unable to download any version as it states that it is up to date. Any ideas?
Normally, when you change the language, you can install ll application. If not, you either have already installed it or there is a problem. If it is already installed you will have all the functions, if not, you have to uninstall it with the Adobe Uninstaller and install it again.
