    Thicker Crayon Effect From Spatter Brush

      Please look at the drawing below. I drew the line on the far left with the spatter brush in Photoshop, after some tweaks were made to the Shape Dynamics. (See the picture below with the Shape Dynamics changes.)

       

      The brush on the left was drawn with a pressure-sensitive tool in one pass. The next one was drawn in two passes, and so on. How can I get the brush to draw like the one on the right with a single pass?

      These are the changes that were made to the Shape Dynamics settings on the spatter brush:

          Turn up the Opacity?  I replicated your brush and used an Intuos5 tablet and only failed to get solid black when the Opacity was set to less than 100%.  However, my Spatter brush did not look exactly like yours:

          Perhaps we used different Spatter Brushes.  You can see the one I used above.  The customised brush looks more mottled in your image.
