How do I make particles activate when an audio react "pulses" / moves?

Ok so I am fairly new to Adobe after effects and I've done quite a few projects. I started a really nice "audio react" using the simple "Audio Spectrum" and quite a few glow effects ahaha. However I wanted to add a nice Particle World that would activate with each beat. I would put the particle maybe at the end of the spectrum so that when a beat came and the bars rose a bunch of particles would shoot out. I don't exactly know how to do this though.. It should be simple enough, just have the Particle world activate when the Audio Spectrum pulses/ moves. I just don't know how to do it. Anybody know of a way? / Have any tips?
