Render from premiere many times faster than through media encoder

      Hi,

Since upgrading to CC2014, I noticed my exports were suddenly very slow. As a test, I started a new project and imported one clip. Dragged onto the timeline, no edits at all. Then I set the in/out to be 1 minute in length, and hit export. When I render directly from premiere, it takes +-45seconds (render to h.264 with no resizing or anything).

When I send it to adobe media encoder, it is taking 3 tot 4 minutes to render the exact same thing.

I have been resetting all preferences, moving media cache folders etc.... but nothing seems to help. I remember that on most projects I have been working on, render times are usually not much longer than the actual piece of timeline I tried to export. Usually edits are basic color corrections. Even an earlier project that had lots of linked AE sequences, rendered pretty fast. If I now open up such a project, and try to render it with AME, it just takes forever (one project that is 1.5 minutes was set to render for more than an hour, and I remember it taking no more than 10 minutes before).

Are there any known issues with AME 2014?

      Thanks,

      Wouter
