What hardware do you use in the digitizing process?
I have NOT used either, but many say to try these for SD capture http://windv.mourek.cz/ or http://www.exsate.com/products/dvcapture/

2. Re: Error: 148:3 when I try to run PPro CS4
vtsprods Aug 7, 2014 12:34 PM (in response to John T Smith)Thank you! I will try these. I've been using Premiere for a looooong time (before they started with Creative Suites). Haven't tried any other way recently. It's been a while since I've tried any other way and they didn't work well then. I use a DV100 and a capture card with Adobe. Yes, it's prehistoric equipment. Used to do a lot of editing. For the past six months, I just use it to capture and send the avi to our editor. Need to capture from tape for the next three months. Would hate to upgrade hardware and software just to do that. Again, thank you! Hopefully one of your suggestions will save me a major headache.

Ann Bens Aug 7, 2014 2:33 PM (in response to vtsprods)Besides getting error 148;3, did you also get a dialog box saying licence has stopped working?
Or find a quality but inexpensive way to capture analog video to AVI without sync problems.
Inexpensive usually means out of sync.

What kind of camera? Which capturecard. If you are on XP you could use Window Movie Maker.
