1. Re: I can't download Adobe Flash Player in my Mac.
m_vargas Aug 7, 2014 12:05 PM (in response to Diego Briceño)Hello,
If you're just closing the browser window, you're not actually quitting the application. You need to quit the application for Flash Player to install. There are a few different ways to Quit Safari:
Quit Safari app from the Dock icon:
Mouse over the Safari icon in the Dock
Press CTRL and left-mouse click at the same time
A menu will display. Click Quit to terminate the application.
Use Activity Monitor to terminate Safari:
Launch Activity Monitor from Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor
Ensure 'All Processes' are being listed (menu in the upper right)
Find and select Safari
Click the Quit Process button (upper left)

I'm not sure what you mean by 'skips step 2', nor how it relates to this thread. Please start a new discussion and provide the information as listed here, Read Before Posting: How To Get A Useful Answer To Your Question.Thank you.

5. Re: I can't download Adobe Flash Player in my Mac.
igrgirl Nov 3, 2014 8:32 PM (in response to Diego Briceño)I can't download the newest version because it keeps asking me for a password that I've never had. This stupid ******** program has frozen my Mac - can't watch any video. I've talked to others who have said the same thing - asks for a password that you've never given or been given. How do I get this to work. Very frustrating.
