Well I guess it really depends on when this dedicated email address for the account was created. If you remember you had a really serious security breach (hacked) where account and credit card details were lifted from your servers. If the account and email address was created before your security breach then this could be the problem? Maybe the original poster can comment on when his account and email address was created.
I also have my own domain and dedicated email address for adobe.
For the last couple of months I have been getting a lot of USA based spam ( not well targeted as I'm in the UK) from a lot of US companies. hacked or sold?
