    reinstalling Flash Player with Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 11

      I have Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 11.  I had both Adobe Flash Player and Shockwave Player on my computer for years; I also have worked puzzles and played games for years on Shockwave.com.  About 8/1/14 I began having a problem in opening any of the games and puzzles and was advised by Shockwave that the errors likely were caused by damage to my Shockwave or Flash Player plug-ins, which can usually be fixed by uninstalling and then reinstalling the players.  Unfortunately, my skills at uninstalling seem to be better than my skills at reinstalling.  When I've attempted to reinstall I followed the on-screen directions, but the download seems to stall at Step 2 of 3.  Any advise?  Thanks.
