If you give complete and detailed information about your setup and the issue at hand, such as your platform (Mac or Win), exact versions of your OS, of Photoshop and of Bridge, machine specs, such as total installed RAM, scratch file HDs, video card specs, what troubleshooting steps you have taken so far, what error message(s) you receive, what type and size of files you're working with; if having issues opening raw files also the exact camera make and model that generated them, etc., someone may be able to help you.
Please read this FAQ for advice on how to ask your questions correctly for quicker and better answers:
OS X 10.9.4
Photoshop CS 5.1
Bridge CS 5.1
2.7 GHz Core i5
12 GB DDR3
ADM Radeon HD 6770M
Error: Photoshop can not print this document.
Troubleshooting: Flattening psd resolves issue.
Scratch discs 700.41 GB & 577.27GB
Now we're almost getting somewhere.
Can you check to see if Photoshop CS5.1 is actually updated to Photoshop CS5.1 12.1 please? DO NOT rely on the Adobe auto updater to tell you there are no updates availble. Look at "About Photoshop".
Also important is how much available disk space you have on your designated scratch disks and on the the disk to which you are trying to save?
Yep, 12.1 x64
…and the reply to my other question?
Sorry, got ahead of myself. Available scratch disc size was 700.41 GB & 577.27GB. Disc space on target drive is 577.27GB.
Out of ideas?
What % of available memory are you letting Photoshop use? You may be starving the OS and the printer driver of memory if you have it set too high.
Can you provide a screen shot of Photoshop > Preferences > Performance, please?
