    How to disable swf controls

    Denise Hambrick
How do I disable the play (Cntl Enter), forward one frame (->), etc. controls during play of a swf?

I have some files that require valid inputs to allow the user to continue, but if the user knows these controls, they can bypass my controls.

It must be simple to disable, but I have not found out how, yet.

      Can you help?

      Thanks,
      Denise

file - publish setting - HTML - display menu

or using stage properties which you can find in your help files.
          look for Stage.showMenu

Thanks for responding. However, my issue is different. I'm publishing a projector file (.exe) that will be on a CD. I have code to have the user login and get validated from our database before they can continue.

But if they know the Flash controls from the keyboard (Ctrl -> and Ctrl Enter) they can bypass my controls and continue play.

Is there a way to disable these controls?

            Thanks.
