Lightroom 5.6 Keeps Deleting Standard Image Previews, Constantly have to regenerate, why?

Hello, I constantly have to regenerate standard sized previews in Lightroom 5.6. This was also the case with the previous version 5.5. I'm not sure what's going on as all settings seem to be in check.

I'm using a late 2013 Macbook Pro 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7, 16GB Memory running OSX 10.9.4. I've set aside 20.0GB for the Raw Cache, 10.0GB for video. Cache is located at Library/Caches/Adobe Camera Raw, which I believe is the default location. The preview cache is 2GB in size. I generate high quality 2880 sized previews. LR is set to automatically discard 1:1 previews after 30 days. Tried purging cache but problem still persists.

It's pretty frustrating to have to regenerate standard sized previews every time I open LR. Sometimes I even have to regenerate them during the same session! Does anyone have any help or advice? Thanks!
