I have a large document in Arabic I am using the world tools pro to get proper sentence structure and text direction. The numbers were initially set in English 1, 2, 3..... I wanted them in an Arabic font so I changed the numeral format to native. All looked fine the numbers all automatically change to the Arabic font. The problem is when the conversion was made it took the English version in 2 digit or more numbers and they now appear backwards. example 2014 reads 4102 (but in Arabic) page 24 reads as 42 etc.... how do I get these numbers to read properly? Thanks appreciate any help with this.
If you set the language to Arabic, the digits to Default, and the Character Direction to Default, you'll get what you want. If you force RTL character direction, then you'll get numerals running in the wrong direction, as you describe.
Joel thank you very much that is exactly what I have done on the world tools I set the character direction. I appreciate your help.
