    Auto_Blend Layers not working

    Borgie78 Community Member

Using Ps CC 2014 and Win7:

I have an image with Background = transparent and two layers, each containing an RGB/8 image.

Following instructions as per the Help file, and with both layers selected, I click Edit/Auto_Blend Layers and selecting Stack Images and Seamless Tones and Colors results in the image in the topmost layer disappearing!

I have tried this using different images (including the exercise in Adobe Ps CC Classroom in a Book on p150) with the same result.

      Could anyone help, please?

      Thanks

There is a new bug just introduced in Photoshop CC 2014.1 that causes the pixel selection from layers to go wrong (just as you've seen).

Drop back to 2014.0 or 14.2.1 and you will find the feature will work.  Adobe has stated they're working on a fix, so I imagine a 2014.1.1 or maybe 2014.2 will be around soon to fix it.
