Installing Presenter on Windows 7 x64 with Office 2013 32bit

In our desktop environment we run x64 bit windows 7 SP1 with a 32 bit version of Office 2013 sp1. I have downloaded presenter using the CC Packager tool and created builds for both x64 and x86. if I install the x64 build it installs correctly but when opening it erros with - Check if Adobe Presenter add-in for Microsoft Powerpoint is enabled. If I try and install the x86 version of presenter it fails with a 1603 error CustomAction CADeploy returned actual error code 1603 (note this may not be 100% accurate if translation happened inside sandbox)

If I build a 32 bit version of Windows with 32 bit office the x86 package installs fine.

What is the recommended version for Winodws x64 running 32bit Office? Is there something that needs changing in the builds to make the x86 version install on a 64 bit platform?

      Thanks very much

What version of Presenter are you trying to install? Presenter 10 has a single installer that should detect your version of PPT (64 bit or 32 bit) and install the proper version. Presenter 9 had seperate 32 bit and 64 bit installers, and would only work with the 32 bit version of PPT 2013.

You also mention the CC Pakager, which may be causing the issue. You many need to work with Adobe Support to see if they have a method of creating a MSI for Presenter for corporate deployments. MSI's for Presenter has always seemed to be a bit of a challenge.

We're using Adobe Presenter 10. In both builds there is an presenter.msi file and a setup.exe file. (The builds created in Creative Cloud Packager)

Installing setup.exe from the 64 bit version gives us an x64 versions of presenter on the machine. (Win x64 with 32 bit office)

If I run the setup.exe from the 32 bit version it fails on a Win x64machine with 32 bit office.

If I run the setup.exe from the 64 bit version it fails on a Win x86 machine with 32 bit office.

If I run setup.exe from the 32bit version on a 32bit box it works fine.

Both packages install correctly on thier respective Operating systems. However as we are using a 32 bit version of office on a 64bit version of Windows it does not work,
