reindeer4 Aug 12, 2014 11:05 AM (in response to reindeer4)With particle playground, I added a mask to keep dirt particles out of a certain area. Is there a way to prevent particles from bouncing off that mask and just to lay there or die on impact?

reindeer4 Aug 12, 2014 2:36 PM (in response to reindeer4)Ok - figured out mapping the RGB channels to a map layer and setting y velocity to 0 stops my particles from bouncing.

Szalam Aug 12, 2014 2:38 PM (in response to reindeer4)Glad you figured it out. I'm really happy to see somebody using Particle Playground. It is a severely underrated effect. People are too distracted by the 3d aspect of something like Particular and don't realize the power of the Playground.
