can I type on a converted document photo?

I just bought the converter to fill out an employment application and though it is converted to a word doc

I still can't get it to type where I want it to.

Also I wanted to have my typing a different color that the application text

This is for Adobe Business Catalyst, I can not see what a 3rd party convertor for something to word document has to do with it?

well then you have it!! I don't know what the hell I am doing. I thought newbie meant new to learning to convert files.

I am guessing you are talking about this:
Adobe Acrobat XI
?
That converts PDF files to word documents.
I am not sure of any other Adobe product for that and you do not mention what file your converting from.
