I have recently purchased a new MacBook Pro 13inch Retina display (MBPR). On my old laptop I was using CS5 which worked beautifully. On the new computer I uninstalled CS5 (after restoring my files via TimeMachine), installed and ran the 'Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner’ (which returned no cleaning requirements) and installed CS6 onto the MBPR. Illustrator, Photoshop and other CS applications work beautifully, but InDesign has never launched successfully since installation. The Splash screen on start up stops at ‘starting up Service Registry’ before closing/crashing. Here is a list of troubleshooting steps I have undertaken to get the program working again:
Does anyone have any advice or guidance on how to fix this problem? I’ve browsed through some other forums, but none seem to point in the right direction.
Could also be a lack of a local default printer (make sure there is a printer attached to the computer and turned on, and set as default on the first launch), or a lack of permission to write the prefs. See Cant launch new inDesign CC | Adobe Community
