I have a video of me on my green screen, and I am trying to simulate wind around me, as a cheesy falling effect. I want it to look like this: Dear Ryan - Stop Posting Videos! - YouTube Is there a way to do this with no third party plugins?
It looks like they applied Force Motion Blur to the chroma keyed subject, then put it over speeded-up video with Force Motion Blur also applied.
I think that there was some roto involved and directional blur and or radial blur set to zoom. Something like this would work. Just a plain blue background added so you can see the blurring. Here's a sample project using a frame from their video...Dropbox - windEffect.zip
Note that the layer above is the actor without any blur, the blur is behind. In a standard production environment I would create the key and then render a DI (digital intermediate with an alpha using a lossless codec) and use the DI to create the composite.
