    CS4 shortcuts

    The Batman

I have made some changes to my computer. I recently installed a new solid state HD. I left CS 4 Design Premium on the original hard drive that I now use for storage on the same computer. I created a shortcut to Photoshop and Indesign on the new desktop, but when I try to open I get error message 147:20 for Photoshop and 5 for Indesign. Do I have to deactivate the software and reinstall or is there a workaround.

Yes, you will have to reinstall.  While programs can be installed on other drives (I do not know the procedure) some of the installation still needs to live in the main (C) drive of the machine.  If you are able to deactivate, do so.  If not, you can contact Adobe support thru chatand have them do it.
