I have a Lightroom 5 license that pre-dates my Creative Cloud CC subscription, so I installed the software and do updates directly rather than via the Creative Cloud desktop app. I am getting an intermittent problem that only started recently. 50% or more of the time I try to use the Develop module I get an error message saying that it is disabled and to please renew my subscription. I am even logged in with my Creative cloud account for purposes of web sharing. Why am I even getting this message and how do I stop it?
Thanks. It seems that I had to install Lightroom via CC and then it was OK.
