I'm on Windows 8 and I use InDesign and Photoshop at the same time. InDesign constantly locks up and and takes Photoshop with it. This happened on CC 2013 and still happens on 2014. If I force-quit InDesign then Photoshop continues to work again.
The behavior happens when I have InDesign open and then alt-tab to Photoshop. Thankfully InDesign recovers files well, but this is a major pain. It doesn't seem to affect Illustrator, another program I use often.
Does anyone else have this problem or know of a solution?
Wondering if maybe you're running into memory issues on your computer?
My computer far surpasses the requirements: i7, 16GB ram, SSD, etc etc. It's not my computer - it's InDesign. I also don't have any extra plugins in InDesign. It's a fresh install from CC.
