Trying to make a PDF from an ID6 doc. Message I get: The document's transparency bland space doesn't match the destination color space specified in the Export Adobe PDF settings. ID6 immediately crashes no matter how I have the settings. Tried bringing back to .idml doc and renaming in CS6, no luck. Any help appreciated, need to get this to printer in 2 days. Doc transparency blend set to: Document CYMY
Adobe Preset set to: Compatibility Acrobat 5 (PDF 1.4) / Output set to Color Conversion: Convert to Destination (preserve numbers) / Destination set to: Document CMYK - U.S. Web Coaoted (Swop v2) and Don't Include Profiles
Try moving the pages into a new file....
Tried moving into new doc and it didn't work. I believe the problem is a glitch in CS6, which Adobe has a fix for but which I cannot get to. I eventually went back to making the postscript doc first, then the PDF from the postscript and that worked. Thanks for the suggestion.
Moving pages doesn't always work, and when it doesn't it usually mans one of the pages is corrupt.
Distilled PDF loses a lot of the extras (like color management and transparency) that can be preserved by exporting, so solving the real problem is a better solution. See Adobe Community: File Crashing on Output - printing/PDF/other for trouble-shooting tips.
