There is no such thing as deactivation for Lightroom. Just uninstall it.

Not necessary. Just make sure you are using a LR 3 installation package, your license key will not work for any other version.

No. You are still assuming there is some "deactivation" process for Lightroom, and there is no such thing.
I've followed the instructions from Dde Gannes and it seems to work. My licence N° is valid again. I'll just wait for a while before being fully sure that the version I've downloaded is not a trial version. But now, I'm facing the same problem with Premiere Elements 9.
I went to the Adobe support/downloads but I've only found versions 10 and 11, not 9, so, if you can help me one more time...Photoshop Elements 9 seems to be ok.
