1. Re: Why my arial black bold (normal) become italic when printing? Does anyone has the same problem as me?
Mike Gondek2 Aug 19, 2014 6:49 AM (in response to sara 3)Fonts can get to be very complex, to help you we will need to know
- What OS you are ons
- How you laid your fonts
- What version of arial are you using Opentype, Truetype, Type 1
By the icon with the O you can tell I have Opentype loaded and Universal Type Client tells me the version 5.00.1.
To solve your problem you need to
- close down any fonts you do not use often, or ones that are acting funny (EG: cannot preview font). This will reduce the posisblilty of having 2 fonts using the same FOND ID number, it is like a social security number for fonts.
- close all your apps, and clear you font cache, start your font utility - need to know your OS. If you are on mac download this tiny file, click and this will quickly clear your cache with terminal.

sara 3 Aug 20, 2014 5:26 AM (in response to Mike Gondek2)Thank you for your reply.
I have install the same font but download from different places and it work!
Which mean the problem is not the system but the font itself...
Maybe it corrupted? Anyway, i just happy the problem is solved.
