I also find that renders in Premiere are very slow to get started. If I cycle to AE and then back to Premiere it seems to kick it into gear. Strange!!
> I'm finding that if I have several AE comps in a project and one of them is marked as a template when I go to link into Premiere only the template comp is visible. The non template versions don't show up. If I turn the template off then all the comps show up as selectable. Is this what others are finding?
from the documentation:
"In the Advanced tab of the Composition Settings dialog box, check the box next to “Template (unlocked text layers editable in Premiere Pro”. Note the important descriptive text under this control: “When ‘Template’ is checked, only template compositions in this project will be visible to Premiere Pro.”"
Thanks for clarifying that. I missed the fine print!! Any reason that renders appear to speed up after cycling to AE and back to Premiere?
