Hi Maria, thanks for replying, what do you need to know?
Windows 7 Home Premium
Service Pack 1
Internet Explorer exe
Adobe Flash Player 14 ActiveX
Processor Intel core i3 CPU
installed memory (RAM) 4.00 GB (3.86 GB usable)
system type 64-Bit Operating System
I get the following message when trying to view something online
Flash player upgrade required
You must download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash player to view this content
Caption box in green Get Flash Player
Thanks for the additional information. Do you have IE 11? If so, it could be an IE issue as Microsoft has changed their UserAgent string which contains identifying information most web developers use to identify browsers and display content within those browsers.
Can you post a screenshot (The specified item was not found.) of the contents of the C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash directory (and C:\Windows\SysWow64\Macromed\Flash if 64-bit OS)?
