I'm working in a co-worker's document and they've created a table of text. Every other line is shaded slightly darker than the other so it can be more easily read. However, now I would like to remove that shading. Could someone please offer the solution.
Thanks for the time and help!
with your text cursor in the table, go to Table > Options > Alternating Fills
you can adjust or remove the shading there.
My apologies. I misspoke. It is not an actual table. Then text is just formatted using tabs to look like a tab. That being said, there are no option for alternating fills on the table.
It appears it is just regular text,
OK, in that case, it is most likely Paragraph Rules. First check to see if there is a named paragraph style applied to the ruled text. This job will be easier if there is. If not, you will have to make the change separately for each line.
Go under the fly-out menu in the Paragraph Pallet, look a Paragraph Rules (check rule over and rule under). All you have to do is remove the rule.
