I have two layers (icons). One of the icons ovelap the other. But the layers are visually merged in this case.
I created a whitesmoke stroke around the heart icon. It did a trick but does not look good when the icon is used on different backgrounds.
So my question is: how can I make this stroke transparent?
The quickest way would be hold ctrl and click the heart layer to get the marquee selection > select> Modify> Expand add the stroke width click ok Ctrl+Shift+I to invert selection then select the sewing machine layer, click the mask icon at the bottom of the layer pallet. Once you have the mask in place go back to the heart layer and hide the stroke..?
Hope this helps?
Thank you sir. I managed to fix it myself by rasterizing the layers, then selecting the stroke and removing it, But your solution seems to be better.
Thank you again.
No problem, glad I could help.
