    crossdomain.xml on non-port 80

    Sweetheart777
      Help! I have an application that MUST go on a non-port 80 web server. Port 80 is used by an embedded security device and can't be altered. Regardless, the application must be served from a different port for other security reasons.

      I can't put a crossdomain.xml on, let's say, port 60000 at the root of the web server. It doesn't work. There isn't even an attempt to get to it.

      What can I do?

      My crossdomain.xml looks like...

      <?xml version="1.0"?>
      <!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM " http://www.macromedia.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd">
      <cross-domain-policy>
      <allow-access-from domain="*" />
      </cross-domain-policy>
