Can I back up images in Lightroom to an external hard drive as I'm shooting tethered and sending files to a folder on the internal hard drive?

I'd like to be able to send files to both the internal hard drive and an external hard drive as I'm shooting tethered in Lightroom. Can this be done and if so how? Thanks.
