    Lightroom on Mac 10.9.4 Constantly says Application Not Responding


      I'm running Lightroom on a trial with Creative Cloud.

      Every time I try to add files to my library that are already on my computer it pinwheels, starts the import and then gets stuck. When I right click it says App Not Responding and I have to Force Quit. It will import once every twenty tries. 

      I have uninstalled and reinstalled and the same problem persists.

      I have made sure there are no external devices plugged in and erased my preferences.

      I am using a Mid 2014 Macbook Pro 15" (three weeks old) with 16gb of RAM and 70gb of free space.


      Any ideas?


      I'm ready to give up on Lightroom, good thing I was given a free trial. Also, it's insane you can't get phone support for a trial, guess they don't want new business.
