Image is distorted when I press CMD T on a psb file.

      Hi All,

I'm having a problem placing a linked file into a Photoshop CC psb file.

I want to proportionately resize the image so I'm pressing CMD T to get the transform box (so I can shift drag to make it larger)

The problem is, when I press CMD T the image is squashed downwards as soon as I press the keys (please see screen shot)

How can I make it stop?

      Thanks,

      Ben

After I press CMD T. Image has been reduced in height.

Trying to work out what you are trying to do here..?

If you are placing a linked image you should get the transform automatically when you first place the image, therefore you should have the exact image that you are trying to place?

Are you placing a .ai or .eps or something else?

Does your original image you are trying to place have a background? So the white bit? if not it may be picking up the bounding boxes of the text, etc that you have and therefore not be the exact size you want to transform?

What option are you choosing when you place the item? If you place a background to the size of the image in the original artwork and then crop to art box you should get exactly the right size being imported.

Like I said though this is difficult without knowing what file type you are placing and how you are doing it.

Hope some of this helps, but try and answer some of my questions and may be able to help further.

          Thanks.
