I created a document in Adobe XI Pro on a desktop w/Windows 7, setting some text boxes for a specific size font. When I put the document onto a new notebook that has Windows 8 (not sure if that matters), the font is smaller in those text boxes than on the original computer on which the doc was created. Why wouldn't the properties remain the same form the desktop to the notebook? The notebook only has the default reader app that came with the notebook. Do I need to install Adobe Reader for the properties to maintain?
Hi Fishman4110 ,
Thank you for posting on the Adobe forums, in ideal situation it should not change. Though, i would suggest you to test it with Adobe Reader 11.
You can get the Adobe Reader @http://get.adobe.com/reader/
Thank you. We did discover it was the reader causing inconsistencies from one device to the other. We downloaded Adobe Reader to the notebook and everything worked perfectly.
