    Extreme Preloading Problems

    OneHalfBritish
      could really use some help, i've searched the topics and haven't found anything that relates, so here goes...

      visit HERE
      all preloaders on this main page work fine, now if you click products, then speakers, then access...there is a preloader here that loads the external swf but the bar isn't working.

      alternatively if you visit HERE
      and go to speakers, then access...the preloader bar here works fine, so what i'm wondering is why would it not work when contained within another flash movie.

      here is the action script for this preloader:

      FRAME 1

      AccessPreloaderBar.setStyle("themeColor", 0xD51729)
      AccessPreloaderBarListener = new Object();
      AccessPreloaderBarListener = function (eventObject) {
      AccessPreloaderBar._visible = false;
      AccessPreloaderBar.removeEventListener("complete", AccessPreloaderBarListener);
      };
      AccessPreloaderBar.addEventListener("complete", AccessPreloaderBarListener);
      AccessPreloaderBar.mode = "polled";
      AccessPreloaderBar.source = "_root";

      FRAME 2

      AccessPreloaderBar.mode = "manual";
      AccessPreloaderBar.setProgress(0, 100);
      AccessPreloaderBar._visible = true;
      AccessPreloaderBarListener = new Object();
      AccessPreloaderBarListener = function (eventObject) {
      AccessPreloaderBar._visible = false;
      };
      AccessPreloaderBar.addEventListener("complete", AccessPreloaderBarListener);
      AccessPreloaderBar.mode = "polled";
      AccessPreloaderBar.source = "AccessLoader";
      AccessLoader.contentPath = "access.swf";
      AccessLoader.scaleContent = false;
      AccessLoader.autoLoad = true;

      stop();

      I'm a designer new to flash, this code is from a tutorial...needless to say i know next to nothing about actionscript

      thanks to anyone who can help
