Could I use Ink and Slide on my iPad with Adobe Connect?

I am looking for a solution to write and draw on the screen during a Adobe Connect meeting using a desktop computer (non touch screen). I was thinking about using the iPad as a whiteboard and possibly Ink and Slide. Is anyone doing this? I need to know what version of programs, devices and apps are compatible.
