1. Re: I updated my muse cc and now I can't upload sites to ftp or export as html without muse crashing.
Zak Williamson (Adobe) Aug 27, 2014 9:01 AM (in response to newavedesigns)Does an error dialog appear? If so, please post a screenshot.
Are you on Windows or Mac? If Mac, does the Apple Crash Report dialog appear? If so, please copy/paste the complete crash report into a reply here.
If Muse hangs and you're required to force quit or kill the app, at what point in the export or upload process does this occur?
Thanks.

newavedesigns Aug 28, 2014 9:51 AM (in response to newavedesigns)Muse crashes when it tries to upload the the server. It starts like there is no problem then it just hands and then we get the screen shot.

4. Re: I updated my muse cc and now I can't upload sites to ftp or export as html without muse crashing.
kdl_vehicle Aug 28, 2014 6:15 PM (in response to Zak Williamson (Adobe))I am having this same issue. I don't get any errors, just a crash report. I thought I had it narrowed down to a specific composition widget on my site, but after installing today's latest update (2014.1.1.6), getting rid of the problem widget doesn't even help. I'm on a Mac, OSX 10.9.4.
Here's a link to the crash report. I wasn't able to post when pasting the whole text into this reply.

CarrieGreenFL Aug 29, 2014 1:02 PM (in response to newavedesigns)I am also experiencing this issue. Muse crashes when attempting to perform the following actions:
Publish to business catalyst (around 40% completion)
Export as HTML (usually around 60% completion)
Preview site in browser (sometimes will work, sometimes will not.)
Here is a screen shot of the error message (it is the same for all instances)

6. Re: I updated my muse cc and now I can't upload sites to ftp or export as html without muse crashing.
Zak Williamson (Adobe) Aug 29, 2014 1:32 PM (in response to CarrieGreenFL)Please see this (seemingly unrelated) thread <Re: I can paste vectors in muse now, it shows up in preview, and even in a browser preview, but not when I upload.>.
This error is triggered by graphics copied and pasted from Illustrator to a Muse master page using Muse 2014.1.0. Sorry for the inconvenience.

CarrieGreenFL Aug 29, 2014 1:41 PM (in response to Zak Williamson (Adobe))Great! It's funny right before you posted this response I thought to make my pasted vectors into linked images. Everything is working fine now, thanks for your response!

kdl_vehicle Aug 29, 2014 5:17 PM (in response to Zak Williamson (Adobe))I don't have any pasted graphics or SVGs. Any other suggestions of what I could try?

10. Re: I updated my muse cc and now I can't upload sites to ftp or export as html without muse crashing.
Zak Williamson (Adobe) Aug 29, 2014 5:27 PM (in response to kdl_vehicle)@kdl_vehicle, please send your .muse file to my attention at muse-support@adobe.com along with a link to this thread. From the crash log Muse appears to be crashing while attempting to encode a specific PNG image. I'll need the file to investigate further. If the file is larger than 20Mb you can use a service like Adobe SendNow, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc. Thanks.

12. Re: I updated my muse cc and now I can't upload sites to ftp or export as html without muse crashing.
Ivo Jeukens Aug 30, 2014 1:57 AM (in response to Zak Williamson (Adobe))Dear Zak (and all others of course), the problem still occurs on my system. (MUSE 2014.1.0 (CC), OSX, everything up to date.) Exporting a blank page is not even possible to FTP. The previous version, the one with the form that immediately asked for all the required information in the first box, was still on my computer and worked fine. Are there more possibilities? (Furthermore, I already put the repair file in my preferences folder on the right place).
Thanks!

13. Re: I updated my muse cc and now I can't upload sites to ftp or export as html without muse crashing.
Zak Williamson (Adobe) Sep 3, 2014 1:32 PM (in response to Ivo Jeukens)Ivo, what specifically is "the problem" that still occurs?
newavedesigns and kdl_vehicle are experiencing crashes during the upload or export process. I'm actively working with kdl_vehicle to attempt to fully understand and resolve the issue for her specific case, which related to image processing.
CarrieGreenFL posted about a separate unrelated issue specific to Muse 2014.1.0 which was addressed by 2014.1.1.
It sounds like whatever you're encountering occurs with an empty site (blank page) and is thus likely an FTP connection issue and unrelated to the other problems discussed in this thread. Please provide more information, preferably in a new thread assuming I'm correct and what you're encountering is unrelated to the other discussions in this thread. Thanks.
