I am trying to time a video graphic with an audio clip in ae cc on my mac. I bring the audio clip into the compostion. I can only hear it when when I hit ram preview. The hard part is when I want to stop the audio at a point to mark it it jumps back to the start of the clip.I cant get it to stop over the area I want to edit. In addition, in fcpx I have the ability to mark the clip...I don't know how to mark a clip in ae cc.
Basics of AE, really. A short excursion to the help might not be a bad idea. hit the multiply key on the numpad during audio/ RAM previews to add markers - with a layer selected, layer markers are added, otherwise comp markers. And for stopping check the relevant "from current time" options on the preview panel and use the space bar to pause, rather than other keys to stop...
