Indesign crashes immediately on opening. Several times saying it is corrupted but recently just 'quit unexpectedly' This began after moving all software & files from old macbook to new Imac, Is there a way I can uninstall then re install just Indesign rather than the suite? I brought it in 2008/9 disk format and don't want to jeopardize my other programs, I'm worried the disk might have become damaged with age. Although it looks fine and I've only used for one physical installation so far. I don't know if i will be covered??
Any advice would be awesome,
Thanks in advance
Adobe programs in general, and ID in particular, do not migrate well. The only way to uninstall just part of the suite would be through the uninstaller in the application folder or by running the installer disk again, if the option is offered (and I don't recall if it is for CS5).
Thanks Peter, Since posting the first question I've realised my mistake of not installing properly in the first place!! very annoying... I'm going to try and uninstall and re install the whole suite I think. Does that sound like the right thing to do?
