I'm brand new to Photoshop so perhaps the answer is far easier than I think. I'm creating a new church bulletin and I need to know how to duplicate the file I have so that I can print it on a 8.5 x 11" paper, with 2 copies on one sheet so that each 8.5 x 11 paper creates two bulletins. I thought there might be a "mirror" option somewhere but I cannot find it. Is there a way to accomplish this? Or do I need to create a new file and then somehow merge them together so that we can print them?
If the image is layered I would recommend
• grouping all the Layers
• Select All (cmd-A)
• Layer > Layer Mask > From Selection
• Layer > Smart Objects > Convert to Smart Object
• Image > Canvas Size and set Width to 200% and set the Anchor to middle left
• Layer > Duplicate Layer
• move the Layer over to the right side
This way you can edit the contents of the Smart Object and both instances will update on having saved the Smart Object.
