It has been a while since I have done any HDR. I used to load my bracketed shots into Lightroom and send them to Photoshop, where, I would simply save the result back into Lighroom as a 32 bit TIFF, and do my editing in Lightroom.
I can not remember how to do this. The closest I have come is TONE IN ACR in Photoshop, but it was before sending to ACR that I was able to simply save back into Lightroom.
Am I just having a major brain fart in my old age or has this feature been moved, changed or taken out?
I am using Creative Cloud for Photographers and have the latest Lightroom and Photoshop versions as of today (August 31, 2014).
You should be able to select the photos in lightroom then Edit In>Merge to HDR pro in photoshop.
Once the photos open in the hdr dialog, select 32 bit for the Mode and uncheck complete toning in adobe camera raw
After the photo opens in photoshop, go to File>Save and that should save back to the original folder and lightroom should pick it up.
Thank you. I missed that little check box.
