This is the message I get when I try to re-install creative cloud. It says "The Creative Cloud Installation is no longer functioning, please uninstall and download again." The reason I did that is when I opened Photoshop CC for the first time on my new iMac, this is the message I got: "One or more files in the Adobe Application Support folder, necessary for running Photoshop, are missing. Please run the Photoshop installer and re-install Photoshop." I keep trying to download Photoshop CC and nothing happens. Photoshop CC seems to run ok, so maybe it's not even an issue. But I was just concerned that something is missing and will cause problems later.
I am having the same issue. I've been trying to valiantly figure out this problem for 4 hours but I have no idea. Im even logged in as a Root User and deleted the OOBE stuff... What are my options?
uninstall everything cc including the cc desktop app.
clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
restart your computer (don't skip this)
reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
