Thankyou Peter. That's great.
Oh, except it states Power PC applications are no supported. I should have given system details
15in Macbook Pro Early 2011 Intel Core i7. OSX 10.9.4
I am searching for an updated version and not being lazy - but can't find an alternative.
That's the version. You don't have a PowerPC, and that tool is specifically for CS3 and CS4.
That said, it may not work for 10.9.4. CS4 just isn't supported on Mavericks, so you're on your own.
I found this page - Error "Licensing has stopped working" | Mac OS
and followed the step by step using the OSX10.7 instructions, and using "LicenseRecover.py" file (from the download you directed me to) in the terminal window .
Seems to be working fine now.
So, thankyou again Peter. I'm always blown away by the help available on forums from people like you.
PS. Can't help but feel I'm being pushed into a CC subscription for InDesign. S'pose it's inevitable.
