Glad you asked. As background information, what version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
Please review and consider the following blog posts on Time Lapse Video and Premiere Elements
If any questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thank you for responding. I am using Premiere Elements 12 on a Windows 7, 64 bit computer. I have ordered and intervalometer that should arrive in a week.
When I research this subject, I find recommendations for available software, but hesitate to use until I exhaust the capabilities of what I have. I also have Photoshop Elements 12.
I'm a retired person with minimal technical knowledge.
I just finished reading your write up in detail. Now I am anxious to try time lapse in the near future. Thank you so much for your sharing your knowledge.
You should do fine with what you have.
When ready and, if you have not already, please check out the details in the Time Lapse Basics blog post. Do not hesitate to tell me if you do not understand steps or principles. I will customize a reply to your situation and reword/rewrite in your thread what you tell me that you do not understand.
It is always a good idea to do mini test runs before the grand project.
Please update us on your progress when your schedule permits.
