Forgive me in advance if this question has been asked (searched, but could not find my answer). If I am using LR's 8x10 template with the default margins (mine show .25" on the top and sides, .56" at the bottom) what size will the actual print be? I ask because the frame I am using is pre-matted, with a display area of 7 3/8" x 9.5". I want the entire image to show, so on an 8.5" x 11" sheet, what should my margin settings be? As you can see, I'm a bit puzzled by this feature. I would do a text print, but my Canon sucks up ink like mad, and I'd like to get it right the first time. Many thanks to any who can help.
It just occurred to me that making the cell size the same as the display area of the matte should give me what I need, regardless of the margin settings. Does that make sense?
Hmmm, 47 views and no one knew? Turns out it was the cell size. My advice: set the cell size .1" bigger than your matting reveal, and be sure the "Zoom to Fill" box is checked.
